100 TPH Ore Stone Cone Crusher Production Line (Peru Iron Ore Project)
Aug 15, 2025
The 100 TPH Ore Stone Cone Crusher Production Line is a medium-scale crushing system customized for iron ore processing in the Huancavelica Region of Peru. Tailored to local mining conditions—including abrasive iron ore (Mohs hardness 6-7), high-altitude environment (3,200m above sea level), and intermittent grid power—it integrates two-stage crushing, closed-loop screening, and energy-saving operation. The line focuses on efficient fine crushing with cone crushers as the core, producing uniform particle sizes (0-5mm, 5-15mm) for subsequent ball mill grinding, perfectly matching the client’s iron ore beneficiation requirements.
Equipment Used
  • Hopper (Volume: 25 m³, with high-manganese steel anti-wear lining)
  • Vibrating Feeder GZD960×3800 (single-deck, dust-proof cover)
  • Primary Jaw Crusher PE-500×750 (heavy-duty, adjustable discharge)
  • Secondary Cone Crusher CSB160 (hydraulic cone crusher, high crushing ratio)
  • Vibrating Screen 3YD1860 (3-layer, high-frequency, corrosion-resistant coating)
  • Belt Conveyors (Model: DTII, width 800mm, various lengths with rain covers)
  • Diesel Generator (80 kVA, backup power for high-altitude grid instability)
  • Dust Suppression System (Combined spray + baghouse filter)
  • Automatic Lubrication System (Grease-type, timed circulation)
Flow Description
  1. Ore Feeding: Raw iron ore (particle size ≤400mm, moisture ≤10%) is transported from the open-pit mine to the 25 m³ hopper using 20-ton dump trucks. The hopper is installed with a anti-blocking vibrator and inclined bottom plate to avoid material accumulation, adapting to the humid season’s slightly sticky ore in Huancavelica.
  1. Primary Crushing: Ore falls into the vibrating feeder GZD960×3800 by gravity, which uniformly conveys it to the primary jaw crusher PE-500×750. The jaw crusher (crushing force 1250 kN) reduces ore size from ≤400mm to 60-80mm, with a processing capacity of 120-150 TPH, ensuring sufficient feeding for the subsequent cone crusher.
  1. Secondary Cone Crushing: Crushed ore is transferred via 800mm-wide belt conveyor (equipped with rain cover for Peru’s occasional rainfall) to the secondary cone crusher CSB160. The hydraulic cone crusher—optimized for abrasive iron ore—features a high-chrome alloy crushing cavity, adjusting discharge gap between 5-15mm to process 60-80mm ore into 5-15mm fine particles, with a stable capacity of 100-110 TPH.
  1. Closed-Loop Screening: The crushed ore enters the 3-layer vibrating screen 3YD1860 (screen mesh sizes: 15mm, 5mm, 0mm) for grading:
  • Oversized material (>15mm): Returned to the cone crusher via dedicated belt conveyor for reprocessing, forming a closed-loop system to ensure all products meet particle size requirements.
  • 5-15mm material: High-quality iron ore aggregate for medium-grinding, output as secondary product and stored in silos.
  • 0-5mm material: Fine iron ore for direct ball mill feeding, output as primary product, accounting for 65-70% of total output.
  1. Power Support & Environmental Protection: The 80 kVA diesel generator automatically switches on during grid power outages (common in Peru’s high-altitude mining areas), ensuring 24/7 continuous operation. The combined dust suppression system (spray at crushing stations + baghouse filter at screening stations) controls dust emissions ≤15 mg/m³, complying with Peru’s environmental protection standards (Norma Oficial Peruana NTP-416.001).
  1. Maintenance & Adaptability: The automatic lubrication system supplies grease to the cone crusher’s bearings and eccentric shaft every 2 hours, adapting to the high-altitude low-temperature environment (average 12°C) to prevent equipment wear. All key components (crusher liners, screen meshes) are corrosion-resistant to withstand Huancavelica’s humid climate.
Supplement
  • The line is customized for Peru’s iron ore characteristics: The cone crusher’s crushing cavity is designed with a “deep cavity” structure to improve throughput, while the belt conveyor’s motor is upgraded to high-altitude-adapted models (power efficiency increased by 10% at 3,000m+ altitude).
  • Capacity can be adjusted between 80-120 TPH by modifying the cone crusher’s discharge gap and vibrating feeder speed, adapting to fluctuations in raw ore grade from the client’s mine.
  • Optional upgrades include an ore washing machine (for clay-rich ore in Peru’s rainy season) and a PLC control system (for remote monitoring, suitable for mines with limited on-site technical personnel).
